Sinopsis / Synopsis:
“Geografías” cuenta la historia de Carlos, un hombre abandonado por su padre cuando niño y cómo este evento lo lleva a un recorrido interminable por la ciudad que considera su hogar a la espera de que su padre regrese por él. En este viaje, Carlos busca a su padre, o al menos algo que le ayude a mantener la esperanza de verlo de nuevo sin darse cuenta de que deja ir su presente al no desprenderse de su pasado.
A través de esta historia, la película aborda un tema universal, al que todos estamos expuestos: debemos ser realistas y darle a nuestro pasado su justo lugar, es decir, aprender de él, dejarlo ir y seguir adelante.
"Geographies" tells the story of Carlos, a man abandoned by his father as a child and how this event leads to an endless journey through the city he considers his home to await his father returns for him. On this trip, Carlos seeks his father, or at least something to help him keep hoping to see him again without realizing that he lets go his present time when not shed his past.
Through this story, the film deals with a universal theme, which we all face: we must be realistic and give our past its rightful place, in other words, learn from it, let it go and move on.
