Sinopsis / Synopsis

The movie is a portrait of the life of a married couple. Antonia, a small woman, with unforgettable features because of the traces of time in her face, with temper, milks hercows in the dawn, but refuses to assist in the birth of a calf. The "Charrito", a man in which the passing of the years are manifested in the effort he must do everyday to work his land, without regret. He walks a path in the dark of thedawn to begin his work, and acts as a midwife in the birth of one of his cows. The movie told through the point of view of these two characters, makes us think aboutthe lifestyle of the people that live outside of the cities.

Chinihuapa. (under the stars) is the mystery of the darkness and the impressive fog that comes with the dawn, it’s a look to a world that seem inexistent nowadays; the world of the self-support, well provided old age, and the joy of life. It’s the silence the one that talks all thru the day and cries claiming our attention to a fascinating and beautiful world that vanishes, it’s the starry sky asking us with every spark to turn and see this world for a moment, to think, to feel what we live, where we live and how we live.
