Sinopsis / Synopsis

Recuerdoses el recorrido por una historia del siglo XX tomando la vida de Luis Frank, emigrante lituano, como línea narrativa. Es un viaje por una época en la que el planeta, fue marcado por la guerra, esa de la que tanto hemos oído hablar y por la que seguimos amenazados.

La emigración, la búsqueda, la guerra, la libertad, la infancia, un México guardado en los recuerdos, son algunos de los temas de esta película. Recuerdos es la historia de gente que recorrió el mundo en busca de un lugar al cual pertenecer, gente cuya vida fue hilada por rupturas.

The documentary film Remembrance is an outline of the past century taking as a motif the life of Luis Frank, a Lithuanian emigrant. It is a journey through a time wich the world was made by war, that of wich we have so many times heard of and by wich we live constantly under menace.

Emigration, war, freedom, childhood, the quest for something, a country -Mexico- kept in memories, are some of the subjects dealt within this film. Remembrance is the story of people who have traveled the world in search of a place where to belong, people whose lives were punctuated by ruptures.
